The Toussaint Louverture Foundation has organized: cyclical conferences on major issues and problems of national interest; published the magazine "Louverture;" aired a radio program in New York called “Jeklere” (Bright Eyes); disseminated information and research papers relative to the Haitian problem; established the Toussaint Louverture Library in the City of Miami, Florida.
The library is presently undertaking the following activities:
1) Publishes "PANACEA," the quarterly journal of community affairs;
2) collects books, periodicals, statistical data, audio-visual documentaries made on the Haitian communities, the Caribbean region, as well as on the Afro-American communities in the United States;
3) undertakes research on socio-cultural activities of various communities and publish our research findings;
4) forms partnerships with similar organizations in Haiti, the Caribbean, North America, and elsewhere.
